Everton football club player, and previous England Captain, Wayne Rooney has been restricted from driving for a long time and requested to perform 100 hours of unpaid work as a major aspect of a year group arrange at Stockport Magistrates' Court in the wake of conceding to drink driving.

The Everton striker and previous England skipper was ceased by police when driving a lady's dark Volkswagen Beetle in Wilmslow, Cheshire, at 2am on September 1.

Rooney, 31, was later  apprehended and bailed on Monday he entered his liable request at Stockport Magistrates' Court.

Wearing a blue suit with his hands in his takes, he strolled into the court building joined by a little company.

In an announcement issued to the Press Association after the request he apologized for his "Unforgivable lack of judgment".

He stated: "After the present court hearing I need freely to apologize for my Unforgivable lack of judgment in driving while over as far as possible. It was totally off-base.

"I have just said sorry to my family, my supervisor and director and everybody at Everton FC. Presently I need to apologize to every one of the fans and every other person who has taken after and bolstered me all through my career .

"Obviously I acknowledge the sentence of the court and expectation that I can influence some changes through my community service. "
