Walcott scores double as Arsenal defeated Benfica in 7 goals thriller...


The Emirate cup started with Leipzig vs. Sevilla match that ended 1 nil in favor of the Spanish side Sevilla. The goal was scored from the penalty spot by Wissam Ben Yedder in the 35th minute of the match.


Arsenal fc played against the Portuguese side Benfica. it was a rain of goal as the match ended 5-2 in favor of Arsene Wenger side.

Benfica took the lead in the 11th minute of the match; goal was scored by Franco Cervi putting the Portuguese side ahead of Arsenal in the match.

Theo Walcott gave an equalizer for the gunners in the 24th minute and also gave his a lead in the 32nd minute making 2-1 in favor of Arsenal fc.

In the 39th minute of the Eduardo Salvio of Benfica changed the score line with a wonderful finish, the goal was an equalizer for his side making it 2-2.

It was a draw at the end of first half both team scoring two goals each.

In the second half of the game Lisandro Lopez made an own goal putting Arsenal ahead 3-2, Oliver Giroud scored in the 64th minute making it 4-2.

Alex Iwobi of Arsenal scored the final goal of the match in the 70th minute of the match, putting his team 3 goals ahead of Benfica.

 After the match the Gunners fans believe Arsenal looks to be the favorite winner of the tournament.
